Wording For Congradulatios To A Friends Wedding

The Invisible Woman .. I'm not going to talk about a Brazilian movie that has this title. But yes, a Bible story with several lessons for our lives.

I invite her to study together Genesis 29.1. But today I did not write about Rachel, but on LIA.

The story of Leah, wife of Jacob, caught my attention in recent dias.Eu never had much to attack the story of Lia. The first information that the Bible gives us is that she was ugly, cross-eyed and "stranded."

The story goes that, for Rachel, Jacob worked for Laban, Rachel and Leah's father for seven years to have the right to marry the woman he so desired. Only Laban, concerned about the lack of husband Lia, just fooling his son in law and in the wedding party gave Leah instead of Rachel. (This kind of exchange was possible because, in Jewish tradition, the bride was covered by a veil until the time of first intercourse, which usually happened in the dark).

Only the next day's realized that Jacob had worked seven years for Leah, a woman he did not. The Bible goes on to say that Jacob made a deal with Laban, so the following week, he received Rachel as his wife in exchange for seven more years of work in his father's flocks.

Lia is a biblical character who sums up well the idea of a person injured by circumstances of life, insecure, rejected by others, unhappy in his marriage, unable to speak, used as an object to satisfy the vanity of others, a person unsuccessful in the eyes of men.

Lia felt used by her father, who "sold", Lia felt ugly, Leah married a man who loved her. Hard life!

Lia is the kind of woman who would have every reason in the world to question why God would have done it live a life filled with so many wounds. It would also have every reason to become an embittered woman, but there we read in Genesis 29:31-30:26 she lived giving glory to God while living a life so difficult.

But there's good news: Lia spent years being invisible to Jacob, but she was not invisible to God. And neither are you! The enemy may have put you away, you pushed back and you played on the floor. But God gave him gifts, and when they come to the surface will change your life. Then, talk to him, let him show you the treasure that lies within you.

But the Bible says that the sister of Rachel, Leah, whose name means 'gazelle', was thin and had "soft eyes" (or dull). There is a version that says: "Leah's eyes, but Rachel was beautiful and attractive." Genesis 29:17. The fact is that although people may judge him by his appearance, God never acts this way. He knew that the treasure Rachel was abroad, while Lia inside.

The honor of God

Learn this: before the world began, God chose for a particular purpose. Although her husband Jacob had not noticed her, Lia had a great role in God's plan. The Bible says, "when the Lord saw that Leah was hated, he opened her womb, while Rachel was barren" (Genesis 29:31 NIV). God blessed read so that his sons were the founders of six of the 12 tribes of Israel! Not bad for a "loser"!
God honored
Lia! The text says that the Lord saw that Leah was hated and gave him the gift of fertility, while Rachel was barren. Even diminished by her husband, she was heightened by God into your home every time they had a son, Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Isaac, Zebulun and Dinah. The name of each of these children is an expression of praise for the faithfulness of God Leah to a woman scorned even chose to love the Lord and worship him regardless of life circumstances. Lia is a women's unexpected that the Lord has chosen to fulfill the plan to bring the Messiah into the world.

Just as God did with Leah, he also has honored you, even before a story that was not what you thought. You can detect that honor God in your life? Can you see some sun, its a feature that somehow makes you a standout? Well aware that on large and small situations you have honored the Lord before men who despise you, and you will continue presenting the most beautiful and grandiose ways during his lifetime.

Before Leah was the daughter of Laban, and sister of Rachel Jacob's wife, she was an idea of God and He is never a bad idea! Before the beginning of time, the identity of Leah had been determined by Him And yours. He "knows you by name and has been pleased "(See Exodus 33:12).

Today God has put something inside you that he wants to grow. The Bible says that everything God does is "very good" (Genesis 1:31) and it is time you look at yourself that way too! God knows, and He wants to change their self-image so that others may enjoy the gifts and qualities that are only yours.

you ready to let it do that?
