I can guarantee that many people pass through here have something in your life that prevent them from coming to God: some sinful habit hard to leave, saved some resentment from which it never delivered, some still sore open your soul or feelings that do not know how to control malignant. All know that it takes to get rid of such things and not always for lack of trying. Perhaps the way that they seek to resolve this is not right or it does not have a real awareness of what their mistakes. I know some people who have a religious life "exemplary", but can not see his own flaws, not the other. It is important to recognize our flaws and get rid of them now, if we want a life with God. How? "Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will exalt you." James 4:10
To all these people, I have good news! The Word of God is quite clear when he says that it is possible to reach God only through Jesus Christ, who is alive, exactly where you are, ready to listen, forgive, release, heal and strengthen. This is the first rule and do not even try it another way, because they will not do it! (John 14:6 says, "Jesus said to him: I am the way and the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father except through me.").
Well, after we understood that only through Jesus can we get to God, the next thing to do is take the most important initiative of our lives, which is the renunciation of all that has prevented her from achieving a more direct and intimate interaction with the Lord, without the ghost of charge all the time in our mind. Who can have an intimacy with God, if his conscience accuses him of something, however small? So the Bible says "Come near to God, and he will come to you" - James 4:8
may be that what has prevented him from reaching the heart of God is something we think is humanly impossible to solve, but when God confronted him someone who has done everything right, acknowledged his faults, he humbled himself, confessed, forsaken sin and forgave everyone, so the Father can not resist ... As I told you, my beloved, THE REST IS WITH HIM !
