" There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job, and that man was perfect and upright and feared God and eschewed evil. And there were born unto him seven sons and three daughters. And their cattle was seven thousand sheep, three thousand camels, five hundred yoke of oxen and five hundred she asses, but were also very many servants in his service, so that this man was bigger than all of the east. And his sons went to the house from each other and feasted each turn, and sent and called for their three sisters to eat and drink with them. It so happened that, after a day shift of their banquets, Job sent and sanctified them, and rose early and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said: Maybe my sinned children, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually. And on a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them. Then the Lord said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the Lord and said: surround the earth, and walked through it. And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him, man and upright, fearing God and shuns evil. "JOB 1: 1-8

These are the first verses of a beautiful Bible story, but read the whole book of Job, we will take him many lessons God will use to guide us throughout our lives. Job, though a man of God so that even merited special praise and highlighted by the Lord in the Bible went through great physical and emotional suffering, lost everything they had, including the entire family, but never blasphemed their God . Murmured, wondered how many of us do, but remained true to him and his victory was flavored with honey. See the end as: "And the Lord turned the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends, and the Lord added in twice, and all that Job had before. After this lived Job an hundred and forty years, and saw his sons, and his children's children, the fourth generation. So Job died, old and full of days. "JOB 42: 10:17

THAT HAS VALUE IN THIS LIFE?

A sad thing happened in my family for a few days has made me reflect on the importance we attach to things. The death of Jeff, my brother in law just 30 years, caught everyone by surprise because he was a man strong, healthy and youthful. The swine flu was confirmed in tests and thank God, only he was infected. Man of God, tireless worker, diligent in worship services, praying for the sick, was faithful in tithes and offerings, campaigned for prayer and fasting, was humble, had great faith, was submissive to their pastors, great husband, great father ... in short, lived as God advises us in his Word, but Jesus wanted him in tight.

If he was not a man of God would have been different? Yes, but it would have been much worse, because whoever is not with his life on the altar of God, suffers infinitely more, mainly because he knows he will not for a good place, often aware of the bad things they have sown and are well distant Heart of God, but pride or blindness do not let it fixed while there is time. Like Job, Márcio went through difficult days, but I never cursed at her pain and has always recognized the sovereignty of God in everything that happened. The Father's will was what mattered to him and his will not matter much to him.

Moreover, the comfort that God gives to the widow, children, parents, relatives and friends who also serve Him, is infinitely greater. We're not desperate or feel helpless or unprotected by the Lord. A man or woman of God, when in the wilderness, you are sure that the Lord is there with him and that he knows very well what he is doing. Nowhere murmur against the Lord because He allowed it. We simply accept his will, Furthermore we know that the place of a man of God after they die, the Lord is snuggle. Hallelujah!

When we go through this sort of situation is common to think what really matters in our lives. Small gestures that even before we gave importance today are replaced by much more value to our eyes, and ask forgiveness from those who hurt, pray a little more, singing hymns to God, be more honest, praise the good attitudes of someone, be more humble and less arrogant, measure the words that launched the brother escape from "the scornful," help those in need, to embrace more of our children, spouses, siblings, friends, collaborate more in the work of the Church .... Anyway, all that really worth it, just try to do when we find ourselves at risk of life, which is a very sad reality. We spent a lifetime making "small" errors, which are great for God, but are serious and committed to our salvation. Just read the Bible to know that this is true. You've read the Bible?

Beloved, we must rethink our concepts on a daily basis, we must prepare ourselves spiritually, to repair our altars, to ask the Lord to show us our faults and fix them, clean our hearts from everything that keeps us from fellowship with God and live as if the Christ's return was today.
Thus saith the Lord,

Matthew 24:42-44 "Watch therefore, for ye know on what day your Lord will come, But know this, that if the householder had known at what time of night was come the thief, and not have to undermine your home. Therefore be ye also ready: for an hour when ye think not the Son of Man will come. "
